TEDxUGA
Each March, a carefully curated collection of students, faculty, staff, and alumni take the TEDxUGA stage to share their passions, stories, inspirations, and ideas with the University of Georgia and Athens community. People of all ages and backgrounds come together for an evening dedicated to connecting and sharing in a collective experience. TEDxUGA has become not just a highly anticipated annual event but also a community partner, a part of the UGA curriculum, and a campus movement dedicated to ideas worth spreading. Since 2013, 97 presenters have taken the TEDxUGA stage and their talks have been viewed a collective 2.8 million times.
As the Director of Community Engagement, I was in charge of managing the social media accounts and external relations. From crafting press releases to social media copy, I curated content for students at UGA and the local school district, alumni, local businesses, and community members alike. Below are examples of my work.

Branding Materials
Below are branding promotional materials for social media, such as cover photos, profile pictures, etc. Not only did the TEDxUGA official social media accounts use these graphics, but so did members of the Steering Committee, which spread awareness of the event.
“Promo Day”
Along with the branding materials above, other graphics were made for TEDxUGA’s “Promo Day” - a day dedicated to promoting the upcoming TEDxUGA event. Members of the Steering Committee all take part in the celebration and share these graphics on their social media.
