As Co-Director of the University of Georgia UGA Letter Project, I served as the Curator of the International Day of the Girl event. Each chapter can celebrate this holiday in any way they like, and our chapter decided to host an conference-like event that brought women together from around the community to talk about what it means to be “like a girl” in different areas of life.
