Student Spotlights
Every Monday, the NMI spotlights one of their students who has stood out in the new media certificate program. They are sent an email with a link to a google form, which they fill out, and in turn we draft the information into a social post for Facebook. Below are documents that explains this process as well as examples of these posts.
Nominations process.
The Faculty and staff of the NMI are able to nominate students in their courses that have stood out in class. After they submit their nomination, the program assistant in charge of social media reaches out to the students and asks for them to fill out the Google form (shown below) and to send in a headshot.

Purpose of this Campaign.
The purpose of this ongoing campaign is to recognize students who continue to contribute to both the New Media Institute and the university at large.
Because the NMI is a certificate program, the students are from various different backgrounds and majors, all unique in their own way. By highlighting how unique their students are, they can reach out to different programs at the university and connect with students from all different disciplines.
